Course Description:
This two-day course is ideal for those wanting improve their assessment and treatment skills through a structured clinical reasoning process based on the Bobath Concept and International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF).
Learning Objectives:
At the end of the two-day course you will:

Demonstrate understanding of components of specific postural control requirements for activity and participation for a child with cerebral palsy.

Apply a problem-solving approach to identify and prioritize activity limitations as part of an assessment of a child with cerebral palsy.

Set activity and participation goals for the treatment session and the treatment block.

Utilize a structured clinical reasoning process based on the Bobath Concept to choose and modify treatment.

Modify treatment strategies according to the environment - home, classroom, playground etc.
Course Activities:
The emphasis is on interactive learning and the course involves PowerPoint presentations, video analysis of typical and atypically developing children, treatment demonstration and group work.
